     (2) : a mark of disgrace : stigma  -

I'm presenting two 33 word contributions simply called Freedom. I not sure if it's allowed, but I hope you enjoy them.

                                     Freedom

She walked the street smiling at their shock expressions. She knew they couldn’t comprehend; their eyes only saw an ugly brand. She survived his torture; he hadn’t hers.  This is how Freedom looks.

                             Ant  Freedom
Inside a glass case was his brand of replicating ants, which could replicate flesh. Staring, he counted them, one was missing. He jumped, but it was too late his fingers were already replicating.

Needing something to do on Sunday's, then join me for Snip-it Sundays.

  1. I thought this was cool! Two different kinds of brands. That second one was freaky...I swear I felt like something was crawling on my arm. Thank goodness I imagined it and my arm didn't replicate!

    1. That first one came easy, but then I thought about a SciFi twist. I hate it when bugs crawl on me. Ewww! So I combined them for the second.

Thank you Janna for the support and you lovely comment.

  2. Nice! The first one is really good. The second is creepy and nicely imagined. Creative take on the prompt to combine two very different tales. Both of them stand well on their own as complete stories. Nice work!
