Friday Fictioneers/Peephole

THE CHALLENGE:
Write a one hundred word story that has a beginning, middle and end. (No one will be ostracized for going a few words over the count.)
THE KEY:
Make every word count.

This week's story is 102 words called..... Peephole

Breathing softly, slowly, pressed against my front door. I make no sound, sipping my sangria while I patiently wait his arrival.
I listen intently for a key in a lock, an open door, and his heavy footfalls. They call  me to my peephole, hoping for a glimpse of the neighbor next door. Every night I dream of him, yearning to touch his thick sinew, lick dark chocolate skin, but just a glance of his half smile is enough for the evening.

There goes that Ghetto swagger right passed my door. I strain to see his backside as he steps away from view.

Thank you.....please join in on the fun!

  6. Dear Glynis,

I wonder where this could be leading. Perhaps, as others have said, she should declare herself. Nicely done.
