This weekend the folks over at Trifecta are asking for 33 words of our own inspired by this classic Rollin Stone song Sympathy for the Devil.
My contribution is called Return Policy
“It didn’t work!” Paul yelled.
“What do you mean it didn’t work?” the cloaked man asked perplexed.
“I did everything you said do, and I’m still not famous! I want my soul back!”

It may be one of those caveat emptor situations, but I guess it can't hurt to demand satisfaction.
ReplyDeleteThey can always ask, but a guy offering the world might be a hint that something is amiss.
DeleteHahaha, so appropriate for the fame-hungry world we live in. Sometimes it's just not meant to be! Nice write! Thanks for linking up!
